A classic Peak District fell race that has been chosen for the National Champs and Inter-counties champs in recent years.
The race starts from Crowden campsite, just off the A628 Woodhead Pass, and takes you past the old Youth Hostel and then an 800 ft climb up to Lad's Leap. The route then takes you through Rakes Moss, Robison's Moss and Tintwistle Knarr before steeply descending back to Crowden.
